Onward Travel RN, Suzanne P. (right), shows off her stellar catch following a fishing trip off the coast of Anchorage, Alaska. Suzanne, whose hobby of fishing was one of the reasons she chose Alaska for her assignment, toughed it out for over 9 hours in the cool drizzle before getting this bite to latch on. The King Salmon weighed in at 60lbs. and measured 48.5 inches long and took her over 6 miles of river to reel him in.
Aaron H., RN, gets into Alaskan spirit as he sports off a king crab while on assignment in Dutch Harbor. Alaska king crab fishing is considered to be one of the most dangerous jobs in North America and Aaron regularly takes on patients featured on the hit Discovery Channel TV show, America’s Deadliest Catch.
Onward Healthcare PT, Margie V., rekindles her past hobby as an advanced diver while on a travel assignment in Jupiter, FL. Jupiter is known to be a great dive destination with its abundance of large marine animals on its reefs, most notably the Loggerhead turtle. To read her story, click here.
